Rev. Holley's Thank You & Invitation
Watch the 01/17 Sunday Morning Service

Pastor Holley and the The Historic Little Rock M.B. Church family invite you to join us as we resume Sunday Worship services @ 10am.
The will of God will never lead you where the grace of God will not keep you.
WELCOMING YOU HOME
We welcome you to a church where you can grow as a member of God's family. Here you will find a church family that desires to lift up Christ and our fellow man. We preach and teach the good news of Jesus Christ, and lift the community through a wide range of services and an extensive outreach program inspired by our Senior Pastor, Reverend Jim Holley Ph.D.. We are currently following his vision for the Kingdom Agenda to edify, employ, and empower the people both spiritually and economically. Our varied programs encompass all components of our Twenty-First Century Community.
OUR PASTOR
"The nature of being a church pastor dictates that he or she will make a difference in the lives of their congregation. But also they have the responsibility of reaching out and touching the community. They should make a difference. A pastor's job is constantly in motion and never done. The pastor answers to a higher authority and his or her responsibilities are broad and deep. They are to be a good steward of all that is entrusted to them and are on call 24 hours a day."
Jim Holley, Ph.D.
Senior Pastor

Pastoral Transition & Search
Our beloved pastor of the last 48 years, Rev. Dr. Jim Holley, will retire at the stroke of midnight on December 31, 2021. 11 persons were appointed as the Pastoral Transition Committee to serve as the liaison between the congregation and the individual called by God to shepherd His flock. The members of the Pastoral Transition Committee feel it important that all members of the HLRBC are engaged in this process.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
