TRANSITIONING TO NEW SENIOR LEADERSHIP:   Our beloved pastor of the last 48 years, Rev. Dr. Jim Holley, will retire at the stroke of midnight on December 31, 2021.  In his message to the congregation, Rev. Holley shared with us his prayer that we remain faithful to God as we walk through these coming months of transition that will lead the next man or woman to serve as Senior Pastor.

11 persons were appointed as the Pastoral Transition Committee to serve as the liaison between the congregation and the individual called by God to shepherd His flock.  The members of the Pastoral Transition Committee realized that identifying a new Senior Pastor will require that we understand who we are as a congregation.  On Sunday, October 3 we held the election for the next pastor of Historic Little Rock Baptist Church.  We prayerfully vetted the candidates and held the election.  All registered members were given the opportunity to cast their vote and experience this historic occasion.  We bow before God and put Him forefront in all that we do.  Click here for more information.

MEET AND GREET OUR NEW PASTOR:  We are proud to announce that we will have a meet and greet with Pastor-elect  Rev. Antoine T. Colvin directly after morning service today, Sunday, November 21st.

HLRBC CHURCH SIGN/MONUMENT:  Historic Little Rock is working to get an new state of the art church sign. The pillars flanking the sign will match the stones on the church.  This sign will give us the opportunity to share community information.  There is an opportunity for you to dedicate a memorial stone for a loved one, and or display your family name or business name... all will be etched in history in front of the church.  The campaign runs from now until March 2022.   If you have any questions, please call the church office.

If for some reason you are unsure if you should take the vaccine, talk to your health care provider.   We are now partnering with community agencies to provide vaccines to the elderly and homebound.  Please call the church to make an appointment.

We are in need of "manpower" so we are asking for the brothers to volunteer to help with the distribution!  We thank God that we were able to feed 12K families in 2020 and we look forward to being a blessing again in 2021!
