HISTORIC LITTLE ROCK BAPTIST CHURCH
The will of God will never lead you where the grace of God will not keep you.
WELCOMING YOU HOME
We welcome you to a church where you can grow as a member of God's family. Here you will find a church family that desires to lift up Christ and our fellow man. We preach and teach the good news of Jesus Christ, and lift the community through a wide range of services and an extensive outreach program inspired by our Senior Pastor, Reverend Jim Holley Ph.D.. We are currently following his vision for the Kingdom Agenda to edify, employ, and empower the people both spiritually and economically. Our varied programs encompass all components of our Twenty-First Century Community.
"The nature of being a church pastor dictates that he or she will make a difference in the lives of their congregation. But also they have the responsibility of reaching out and touching the community. They should make a difference. A pastor's job is constantly in motion and never done. The pastor answers to a higher authority and his or her responsibilities are broad and deep. They are to be a good steward of all that is entrusted to them and are on call 24 hours a day."
Jim Holley, Ph.D.
Every 2nd and 4th Friday
The Forgotten Harvest food distribution takes place every 2nd and 4th Friday on the church parking lot. 70 lbs of food will be available for up to 500 families.
2nd Sunday, December 8, 2019

Four Writers, Four Looks, But The Same Jesus
Matt. 1:1; Mark 1:1; Luke 1:1; John 1:1; Heb. 13:8
We are all different. Four is significant in the Bible. The world is centered around the number four with four points of the earth, north, south, east and west; four seasons, spring, summer, fall and winter; and four elements earth, wind, fire and water. Although there are four different perspectives of Jesus. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever more. All of them work together. Matthew, Mark and Luke tell us that Jesus was a man, but John tells us that Jesus is God. Jesus saved us. He snatched us from the fire and we come to give Him the praise.
